Keyboard shortcuts
Describes monthlet 1.0.1.
Full list of app-wide keyboard shortcuts (shown with the key notation of your OS).
[Global]
- ⌘Z: Undo / ⌘⇧Z: Redo. Applies to note edits (both AI generation and direct editing).
- ⌘K: Focus the search bar (full-text search across the Vault).
- ⌘F: Find in note (searches only the currently open note body; separate from ⌘K cross-vault search).
- ⌘N: Create a new note / ⌘⇧N: Create a new spreadsheet (created in the same folder as the open document, or the Vault root if none is open).
- ⌘P: Export the open document (note or spreadsheet) to PDF (saves a PDF rather than opening the browser print dialog).
- ⌘S: Save the note / ⌘O: Open a vault / ⌘,: Open settings (all available from the app menu too).
- ⌘C / ⌘V: With note(s) selected in the sidebar or gallery, copy / duplicate (paste) the note(s). While typing in a text field, regular copy & paste takes precedence.
- Esc: Close a modal, menu, popup, or the search / find bar. While a block is selected, it clears the selection.
[List / menu navigation] (search results, sort menu, note picker, etc.)
- ↑ / ↓: Move between items. Home / End: jump to first / last. Enter (or Space in menus): choose the highlighted item.
[Input / editing]
- Enter: Confirm — create, rename, insert link URL, submit skill variables, etc.
- Backspace: When the search box is empty, remove the last tag.
- ⌘K (while a spreadsheet cell is selected): insert / edit a link in the cell (takes precedence over the vault-wide ⌘K search).
[Chat]
- Enter: Send the chat (start generating). ⇧Enter: insert a line break (does not send).
[While editing note body (block operations)]
- Enter: At the end of a list / checklist / bulleted item, add a new item.
- Backspace: On an empty list item, delete that item.
- Delete / Backspace: With a block selected (not editing text), delete the block (with confirmation).
You can also view this list in the app: Settings > "Shortcuts" tab.
