Shared AI instructions (vault-wide rules)

In Settings → General → "Edit shared AI instructions" you can write rules passed to every chat in this vault.

Put tone, background knowledge, policies to follow, and phrasings to avoid here so they apply to all chats without repeating them each time.

The first-run onboarding also has a step for these instructions; what you write there is saved to the same note and can be edited later.

If a specific request conflicts with the shared instructions, the AI checks with you.
