Anonymous launch record

Once a day, monthlet sends an anonymous launch record to monthlet.ai. It tells us how many people use the app each day and whether they keep using it. It is on by default and you can turn it off at any time.

• What is sent: a random ID created on this device, the app version, your OS (macOS / Windows), where you got the app (our website or the Microsoft Store), and the fact that you opened it that day. It is sent at most once a day.
• What is never sent: note content, file names, vault information, AI conversations, or API keys. The ID is created only for this record and is separate from any other ID in the app, so a record cannot be tied to you. The server does not store the ID as is and does not keep your IP address.
• Turning it off: Settings (⚙) → “Advanced” tab → uncheck “Send an anonymous launch record”. While it is off, nothing is sent and the ID is deleted. Turning it back on creates a new ID, so new records are not linked to earlier ones.
• Development builds never send it.
